Beginner Calligraphy Part 2: Connections & Flourishing is for people who have some experience learning modern calligraphy and want to take things to the next level! This workshop will focus on connecting letters (including all those tricky letter combinations!), creating layouts that pop, and adding flourishes to your work. I'll be writing with brush markers, but feel free to use any supplies you like to practice with!

In this workshop, you will:

• Practice connecting letters to form words and phrases

• Incorporate bounce lettering into your writing style

• Learn all about flourishes, including where and how to add them to your compositions

• Collaborate on a practice layout project

• Get personalized feedback on your lettering and advice to take it to the next level (live tickets only).

Due to the current health crisis, this workshop is "pay what you can". The suggested ticket price is $35, but I understand that's not possible for everyone right now. Whether you pay $5 or $50, I appreciate you choosing to learn with me. You can also purchase this class if you're unable to make the live session but would like me to send you the recording afterwards.

Since this is a live online event, you will need a webcam and microphone to participate, as well as the Zoom app and your own supplies. I will send out a supply list with links and detailed instructions about how to join the session once you have registered. (If you signed up for the replay only, I will share the recording within 48 hours of the workshop). I look forward to seeing you there!
