About Me

My name is Danielle Rothman and I’m a Teaching Artist & Modern Calligrapher in Charlotte, NC. Since 2017, I’ve taught over 400 workshops and helped 4,000+ students how to get started with calligraphy, hand lettering, and watercolors, and I’ve loved every minute of it! My teaching clients include Google, Apple, Facebook, Estée Lauder Origins, Robinhood, American Girl, Etsy HQ, and the Guggenheim Museum. In addition to workshops, I also offer custom artwork and personalization services for events, branding, and thoughtful gifts, and have collaborated on pop up shops at West Elm, Pottery Barn, One King’s Lane, and Chelsea Market.
